You CAN use the USB2SNES Autosplitter for splits, but it takes some work.

  1. You'll need SNES9x-RR 32 bit edition, which supports LUA Scripting https://github.com/gocha/snes9x-rr/releases
  2. You'll need QUSB2SNES, Trust me. it has a LUA Bridge (deprecated, but I tested it and it was working on v0.7.26.1. https://github.com/Skarsnik/QUsb2snes/tree/v0.7.26.1 and 3) you'll need the USB2SNES Autosplit DLL for Livesplit https://github.com/usb2snes/LiveSplit.USB2SNESSplitter/tree/beta8

Get QUSB2SNES unzipped and launched. Make sure you enable LUA bridge in the System Tray menu

Unzip SNES9x-rr and open it, in the app, navigate to File -> Lua Script -> New Lua Script window. In that new window, load the Luabridge.lua script from qusb2snes

Untitled

Drop the USB2SNE Splitter DLL into the same folder as Livesplit, and then open livesplit. If its done right, you'll see the usb2snes splitter in the control part of the layout editor

Untitled

Load a rom into SNES9x-rr, and the Luascript should connect to QUSB2SNES, and see a message similar to this:

Back in Livesplit, in the Layout Settings, the USB2SNES Autosplitter tab, click on Autodetect, it should fill in "Emu - Berrypunch" or whatever name was in the Luabridge script window:
